Mastering Fresh Pasta with Marco Rossi

This rich, tangy, and slightly sweet sauce adds the perfect Italian twist to any burger. Inspired by classic Mediterranean flavors, it’s creamy, garlicky, and packed with umami.

2 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped

½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sun-dried tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, and Dijon mustard.

Stir in the grated Parmesan, garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Let the sauce sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Spread onto burgers, sandwiches, or use as a dip for fries.

Marco's Secret Sauce Recipe

A classic burger with an Italian twist—this recipe combines rich flavors like fresh basil, garlic, and melted mozzarella for a juicy, flavorful bite.

1 lb ground beef (80/20 for the best juiciness)

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and Parmesan cheese. Gently form into 4 equal patties.

Heat olive oil in a pan or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness.

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of fresh mozzarella on each patty and cover until melted.

Toast the buns lightly and spread a spoonful of marinara sauce on each side.

Assemble the burgers by layering arugula, the cooked patty, fresh basil, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze if using.

Serve immediately and enjoy an Italian-inspired burger experience.
